3dsmax or Gmax

Ok, I had 3dsmax 9, but now my trial is up. So I can't use that anymore. And apparently, discreet doesn't offer gmax anymore. Are there any other 3d modeling programs that I can use? Or is there any way to get an older trial version of 3dsmax? Any help would be great.

ok, awesome thanks guys, but I have another question. Most of my models are .max files, would it be possible to open them up in gmax, or possibly convert them?
