Skinning question... (only 2)

Skinning question... (only 2)

Ok... I only have 2 questions... an I hoep someone can help me.

1. When making skin for the warthog tires... how to I make the top one seem like its moving. (a photoshop plugin?)

an 2. How to I make my skin on the hog more detailed. I put it on but when I look at it in-game.. somehow they change... either they get really shiny an look to much like a part of the hog than a skin themselves.

well for the first question u go to filter-blur-radial blur and change that
but dont overdo it or it looks all blurry

and for the scond question you want it to look like tha part of the hog, it looks better if it looks natural

Heya! Xaian,

I think I might beable to answer at least your first question.

1. In Photo shop try selecting the area of the tire you want to blur w/ Elipse selection tool you might wanna measure the pixel dimensions of the area so you get a center and then work from there. then goto Filter sub menu and try the different blur filters they have built into P.S. such as Radial blur or motion blur. just play around with it you will learn fast.

2. I think you might have to adjust the Hogs shader but unfortunately i'm new to that kind of thing so I don't know specifics on how to adjust. It could also be a Alpha channel thing.. not sure.
