My visor changes colour

At the moment I'm trying to reskin everything (or at least the MC) to look LEGO-ish. So far its worked if the armour colour is white. I have replaced the where the visor should be on the full body skin with a lego face and it comes out gret when the armour colouyr is white.
But, when the armour colour is anything other than white it will make the face change into that colour while keeping the eyes and mouth.

Is there a file which says which part of the texture is to be recoloured? I thought it was the multipurpose but I searched and found out that is not what it does.
I'm using HMT 3.5

The Spartan's colors are programmed into the game. You can't reskin them, sorry.
