Bomber Vehicle

It's really late and I don't have much time to look around, but I was wondering if anyone could help me with or (Only if you have the link, not if you have to look around) give me a link to a tutorial that will show me how to convert a scenery item to a vehicle or if it's possible to replace the model and skins of the pelican to those of the fighter bomber in 'The Maw'. Any help will be greatly appreciated, and any flaming about me being a noob.... so be it
