What Folders to Delete?
Does anyone know what folders I should delete on my Xbox HD for Halo 2 to fit? I would appreciate if someone would tell me.

When you copy halo2 over to your box leave out the entire 'bink' folder as you dont need it. It contains the intro video and all that other sparkly junk.
It might not free up the 200megs you need but its a start. Also, if you have the guts then delete the drive backup you may or may not have made when you softmodded.

Ok, what program should I use to copy to my xbox? i'm using dvd2xbox. Is that gonna work?
yeah man, that works. dvd2xbox, boXplorer, Xcommander, PX HD Loader; Those will all do the job because there all file managers. I use xcommander because Im oldfashion and I love its simplicity. Ive heard that boxplorer is more user friendly but hey, they serve the same purpose so use the one you like.

ughhh, if you want to omit a folder from being copied, then dont select that folder when making the copy. With xbox file managers, file copying is recursive... Meaning if you select a directory to copy, it will copy that directory and all the files and folders it contains.
So when you browse your H2 disc in whatever-splorer... select default.xbe, maps, and everything except for the bink directory. In fact I think you can get away with just that... default.xbe and the maps folder.
If you dont want it. Dont select it.

You can have animated signature now, look, I have one. Anyways, when I first got my Xbox hardmodded and tried to copy games onto it, I used DVD2XBOX (I use px-HDD Loader now). I copied the games to the wrong drive. So, when you copy Halo 2 onto your HDD, make sure you copy it to the drive where to you have most space. Also, delete anything like Emulators, and other games you might have on and stuff. Also, you can also use programs like boXplorer (I think) to move some free space you have to places where you need them.
Signature exceeded 3 lines of text.
its too big, and its on a per case basis that they decide if your sig is allowed, your sig, twinbird, is not annoying, his is a freaken video, and its way too big same with your avatar, you should get that fixed. also you can clear gamesaves in the MS dash, that can help.
My real name is a Mammoth, if someone who cares sees this, please change my name to a Mammoth

I think it only displays drives the program can get the game from and to. You can format your F drive since you probably don't have anything on it and u end up with 2 extra gigs. I haven't formated my f drive though. Kirby, donkey kong, mario, and sonic are still paying rent there.
