here's a stupid question. Can you use the custom maps cd on

an un modded xbox? on a cd? because I want to play with custom maps and the goldeneye map... But I don't have a modded xbox... I'm downloading the .iso file for the DVD because I don't have a dvd drive and I have to use a virtual dvd drive... I'm not sure if you can give me the required files or not. Just wondering.

yes and no... U can use custom maps on an xbox that doesnt have a mod chip IF you use an exploit... eg mechassault (tutorials on www.xbox-scene.com) and then run evox, if youre saying you dont have a dvd burner, cdrw will work eventually, but its a pain in the @$$... after u get evox running, you have to ftp to your xbox's y or z drive (depending on ur xbox, and replace the cache003.map file with ur patched cache003.map file containing the modded map, in ur case most likely the goldeneye map... think i answered everything???

but... If I use an exploit I can't use xbox live! right? Because they know I tampered with the hard drive right? I'm not here for piracy or anything. I just want modded maps on xbox.

so u have to keep trying to reinsert the disc to get it to work on a cd-rw oo lol no wonder
