but i have no idea where to put the patches and maps for halo

, can someone help me out where everything goes,

What version of Halo and what type of patch?

ok, halo combat evoled (not custom edition), and the skins and stuff on this website(just for future reference ie maps skins hacks etc),

Don't double post.
Ok for Halo 1 usually what you do is after you find a mod you like, say for Blood Gulch, you will start up halo and play Blood Gulch for a few seconds, just like run around and shoot a few bullets then quit the game and go back to your modded dash. Now FTP and look in the Z drive and get cache003.map I think it is and drag it onto your computer and then patch that map with the Blood Gulch mod you found then drag the map back into the Z drive on your xbox and start Halo up again and play Blood Gulch and it will be modded.
