Halo 2 Warthog Skin problems...

Hi, i'm working on a warthog skin and I really need to get rid if the lines and the details on the 'hog... I was told to removing the alpha channel, or whatever parts i didnt need on that channel, I did this, but the details and lines are still on the hog...

Can anybody help?

O yeah forgot to mention I nulled the standard_bump as well with no effect.

THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS... I JUST WANT TO... TO... CRY!

I've been trying all day, force changing the DXT it uses, deleting the alpha channel, editing the alpha channel, Nulling the standard_bump and still the freakin details remain on the 'hog stupid lines making my skin look crap.

Please... anyone... what am I doing wrong?
