Help with injecting metas

Help with injecting metas

i keep trying to inject different projectile metas but is says injected meta is larger then the origional meta, and never injects it, n e way i can still get the meta to be injected and not get that message.
Why do someting today if u can put it off till tomorrow!?

What is today but yesterdays tomorrow?...

I don't know exactly what your trying to do (like what will it do if it injects correctly).

Try Duplicating a projectile tag that is the largest you can find and inject it over that, and rename it and swap it in.

Also if you're not using Entity, than try with Entity.

I made the sticky wars mod map and i'm trying to get all weapons shoot out sticky grenades but i extract the plasma grenade proj. meta and try to inject it into a different weapons projectile (ex. the rocket launcher), and it says meta is larger the the origional and never injects. but on other weapons like the smg it injects fine and it shoots stickies, and i'm wondering how to get the other weapons to shoot plasmas, in other words change the size of the meta file. can n e one tell me how or what else to do.

Just go into the weapon tag, and swap the projectile with the projectile of the grenade. Its in there already.
*Also make sure you make the projectile speed higher so it doesn't just fall to the ground when you shoot.

**Just go to [weap] - {your weapon} and than (if your using Entity) right click and press Display -> Idents. Change the proj {blahblahblah} to proj - objects\weapons\grenade\plasma_grenade\plasma_grenade.

I do do that but when i try to swap the prjectile metas it says new meta is larger then the origional and dosent swap it, i use dothalo, i was wondering how to change the meta size to fit it if that is even possible, is not tell me how to. or do i have to use a diff program?..

Don't use meta swaps. Do this:

Get Entity. Sat you wanted a magnum to shoot our sticky grenades. Open Entity and your map.

Go down to [weap] and press the '+'. Now select objects\weapons\pistol\magnum\magnum. On the right side, right click and press 'Display' and than select 'Idents'. Find 'proj - ...magnum_bullet' and change it to 'proj - objects\weapons\grenades\plasma_grenade\plasma_grenade'.

Now just change the speed of the projectile and Sign the map and play.
