yes, it's really nice to see that. anyways, flyinrooster, you can find lots of tutorials for max on www.pixel2life.com, www.sourceblog.net (have to sign up), and the links that are in katarn's tutorial are very helpful.rossmum wrote:Nice to see someone who doesn't start screaming abuse when told they aren't the best modeler the world's ever seen for once. No problem, hope it comes out well.
Dude. No. Do you even know who Katarn and Snaf are? They are some of the few 1337est modelers that have ever set foot in CE. =D

Yes, I am glad that someone actually took time practicing the minor details. Many, many people, right here on these forums, put out crude, bizarre, spiky models, but you have an eye for the little things(if not the big picture) and I'm sure we all look forward to the outcome of this model.Doctor wrote:I like that your adding detail also, like the gun barrel.
Missing a "t" in the first word of the last sentence and "P" doesn't need capitalization... sorry, I get compulsive. Anyway, a shallow bore won't hurt, it gives the weapon dimension and amplifies the work of the skin, makes it much more eye pleasing... especially for the person staring down the barrell!Doctor wrote:Also, you don't have to bore the barrel, do it in the skin. I just wastes Polys.
