Halo 1 mod problems

When I make changes to xbox halo, when I start up the game, there are no changes, how would I be able to see these changes?

Do you have Halo 1 on your HDD? You could also try cache editing, it's easier.

yes, I have halo on my drive, and how would I do cache editing?

Play a map with the disc then quit the game and FTP and go to your Z drive and the last map you played should be cache003.map. Just edit that and put it back in the Z folder then load the disc up again and your map is modded. Also for your initial problem make sure you save your changes and all that.
