So there is NO way that I can just take an ethernet cord and put one end in my computer and the other end in my xbox and it will connect? and how do i bring up the maps from the xbox halo's onto my HHT or HMT?

If you have a crossover cable yes. Next time go to www.xbox-scene.com for xbox related questions. You have to FTP and rip them from your halo disc.
