Installing Front Page Template

I know this has nothing to do with halo really, but I need help.

Ok, I dl'ed a template and now I have to put it on my sites front page, but I dont know where to put everything, I know how to get to my site through FTP to put files on, but I dont know where to put the html files and the images >_>

Help would be appreciated greatly.

im pretty sure you have to upload them all into the main directory unless the HTML says differently on the image src path

yeah lol well ive none being HTML and Web Design for a few years now so if you have any other problems i can help.
