I really need help

OMG you have no idea how much of a newb i really am. I don't have a clue about modding. Please help me! I have action replay ,so step by step can someone help me out with this? I dont know what a ppf is and i dont know how to get the linux installer to run and i dont really know anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I want to mod halo 2 with this so i am only asking for your help to get it started and then get some mods.

ok mate, you need halo 2 running from your XB's hdd, (E:\games\halo 2\ ) is where mine is stored, then you can acces the map files, and mod, for stuff like dashboards and configuring your XB so you can load the game from hdd go to www.xbox-scene.com

once your game is on the hdd and you can load it from there, you can transfer your maps with FTP to your pc,

for .ppf files get an app called PPF-O-Matic

and get an app like CH2R for making your own mods and Resigning.

if you need any help with things i have just mentioned, hunt around, all the info is on here somewhere.

thanks, i went to xbox-scene and it helps some but what is ftp?How do you get halo 2 on the HDD. What is the HDD?

ok, FTP is File Transfer Protocol, (XB Scene has tuts on it, you can use FTP to put Halo 2 on the hdd, (thats what i did) and the HDD is The Hard Disk Drive) theres tuts for this on XB scene.

who said "games" i said "halo 2" and quite simply..... how many of us MOD halo 2 AND NOT have it on the HDD? so what you just said your not allowed to do, everyone on here has allready done.... including you, so this makes you and me hypocrits?

and i didnt TELL him how to do it, if you completly read my post, you would know that i told him that theres tuts on xbox scene for that.

AND you said "strictly for halo modding" well, i belive that i am helping this person mod halo by telling him what he needs to know to mod halo.

please, think before you speak.
