plane modeling in gmax

plane modeling in gmax

i have 3dsm but it always shuts off and says dont send or send error report so any way i have gmax but i cant find out how to insert vertexs so i am asking is plane modeling possible in gmax

I am a noob but im pretty sure there isnt a insert vertex button in gmax. People have told me that plane modeling is possible in gmax though. Mabye there is a gmax equivelent to insert vertex? Not sure. Sorry.

If your 3dsmax is legit, it should have no problems.

ah, you caught the gmax mapper at the right*ish* time.

first what you want to do *if you want to know...* is crate a plane under the create>Standard Primitives tab. Now convert it to an editable mesh *either: right click and go under convert to:> Editable mesh :--~--: Modify tab>Modifier list>Mesh Editing - Edit mesh* after that go under the vertex button *the three red dots* and click on create to create vertecies.

you can have it as the editably mesh, poly, or patch. I perfer to use the mesh becuse it it the most flexable *to me*

poly has less lines to deal with. when you need a line, just cut. you don't need to use mesh. poly is lower poly.

Dude. No. Do you even know who Katarn and Snaf are?They are some of the few 1337est modelers that have ever set foot in CE. =D
