okay, DarkMatter not working!

When I try to extract the shitgun it gives me an error message:

lol you called it a shitgun lmao. Umm make sure that your model hasnt been previously messed with on that map.

nothing to do with the model, oops, I meant shotgun (look how close the two letters are on your keyboard) And what I mean is I can't open any models without getting this error. is there another way to extract models?

Oh, and also, how do you increase the explosion size of a projectile?
