web questions help

am helping a friend with a webpage and when i go to host a file by going in to the ftp file then htdoc and i do not know what to do now he has -Unlimited MB of UK web space
- FREE domain name help plz

Go to htdocs.

Make a folder named...uploads or whatever you want.

Give everyone rights to read/execute the folder.

Put your image or whatever in that folder.

Now, mine for example turned out:

I am not allowed to access that...that means you don't have it set so All Users can Read or maybe Execute. Just DO NOT check the All Users-Write box.
