Starting a new mod...

Im gonna make a mod where the overshield gives the user alot more power up than it originally would. How would i do this?

i gues he means like making ur sheild stronger, like say if the over sheild added %200 he wants it to add %500 to ur sheild instead
if life gives u lemons, throw em back and tell life to make its own d**n lemonade
