Playing Halo problem!

well,i just got a new gfx card (radeon 9550) and i went to play halo but,its says it has a problem starting direct3d,and that hardware acceleration may be disabled.then it says run DXDIAG.
so i did,direct3d and direct-sumtin were enabled...i went back and it still says that..soo....wtf......heeeeeeeelp plz

goto ur halo folder andf run the update.exe and get it to 1.07 and it will work.
