Yellow Plasma Grenades

Post by LightningStruckMyXbox »

OK I wanted to make the sniper rifle shoot yellow plasma grenades. So I edited the plasma bitm and made it yellow and injected it into the map as sniper_yellow.bitm

I also duplicated the plasma_grenade.proj so that I could shoot it at a fast speed.

The problem now is that when looking at the dependicies for the plasma grenade proj I can't find any bitm dependencies at all. I even checked the mode and nothing came up. Any suggestions?

inject a fresh copy of meta over the plama nade. Maybe try changing the lighting for the nade. Or copy the fire effect for the plasma nade with insolence and skin it and reinject it over the bitmap you copied. Then relink the effect that you modded to the plasma nade instead of the 1st one you copied (the copying with insolence will prevent any weapons that may have the fire effect of the plasma from getting messed up)

Basically everything. I Have a skin that is yellow for it already (plasma_grenade.bitm) but I can't find out which tag needs it. I have checked the proj and mode and come up with nothing. I am also trying to change the glow and explosion effects with no luck.

If ur doing Bitm injecting/extracting use Dothalo. Its alot simpler. But to fix that blueish glow, simply change that shader with a "Fire" shader (you can transfer it over from Elongation.

Thanks but after doing that it is a red/orange color. I was thinking of a very vibrant yellow color.

So there's no way to change the color of a shader?
