i have an idea and i need people to help me with a program

Okay, i was changing names of vehicles and thought that if we had someone with vb power and hex knoledge we can make a program that searches a couple lins of hex (or is already preset to the spot by a name in a drop down box) and can be easily changed by puttin the new name in a box.

Basic redneck explenation...

A program that lets you find "pistol" and change the name to "cap gun"

The program would need to be able to have "00" (the 00 byte numbers to make a blank space) inbetween characters and add (or make sure there are)
3 blank spaces (00 00 00) (. . .) at the end of the last charatcer so there is no execption.

I, having no power in hex or vb, will giv 99% of the credit to the team that makes it and 1 percent to me and eyyorerules for the idea

sweet idea, i would help, but i dont know much VB. I could make the program windo and stuff, but i couldnt do the coding, because i dont know the codes to do someting like this.
