Need A Halo PC Camoflauge Fix for NVIDIA?!

For anyone that doesn't know, months after Halo PC came out there was a patch released that fixed a small glitch, why they didn't patch it in a better manner I dunno, guess they just didn't care. The small glitch was that for all NVIDIA cards (as far as I know) the camouflage refraction interacted with the in-game text and made it impossible to see the text. They patched this small bug, what did they do? They took out the AWESOME camouflage look and replaced it with an ugly "ghost" look. The classic Halo shiny refraction looking camouflage would be a great replacement.

If anyone feels like wasting their time helping me only for my satisfaction with a simple change, THAT'D BE GREAT.

I do know that some guy made a fix for this, just for people like me, but I can't find it ANYWHERE, seriously I googled for a while.

I even downloaded this program called 3DAnalyzer to trick Halo PC into thinking I use a high-end Radeon video card just to get that camouflage back. That didn't work out though, it loads some kind of preprogram before opening Halo and cancels the whole thing out, but ANYWAY.

Anyone out there have a MOD for an even BETTER camouflage, or just a simple fix? That'd be great. Any camouflage ideas would be awesome.

So that's what made my text disappear with my crappy Geforce 2! Well, can't help you there, but I'm planning to get an X800 pretty soon. I suggest you do something similar if you want to fix the problem, because I really can't see there being anyone willing to make such a patch.
