I am trying to softmod, but i need the software, so far i havn't been ableto find any.

i have mechassault(platinum hits) and splinter Cell(not platinum hits)

i think ive heard this question b4 somewhere...lol

the platinum hits version does not work. but with action relay and ur splinyer cell ( if original edition) will work

thats not true at all, you will need a game(007: agent under fire, splinter cell, or mechassault) and they can be platinum hits if they are the right version, however the ratio of working to non-working is so bad that it is easiest not to even use the hits. so get the original game and the needed files off of xbins ( click here ) and do one of the guides off of xbox-scene.com (in the tutorials section) and then hopefully you did it right and you got it!

wut part of my statement was not true? platinum hits are the updated version of the game and dont work, at least thats wut ive heard

unfortunately every link on Xbox-scene related to softmodding tells me they cant help me, so that was pointless waste of an hour.

god i asked this a few days ago and no one helps me but a admin at the site ive got told me how to sort it u will need eather a cross over cable or a network cable and a router the cross over cable goes where the xbox live cable goes and then the other end in the network plug in ur pc u need to put some files from ur pc into the xbox ive got a tut and the files now and im not doing this to cheat i just want to mod halo 2 i mod halo pc so.o and btw the router and network cable is if u dont have a cros over cable u need to connect the network cable to the router thats connected to ur pc id would suggest getting a cross over cable.

You cant mod on halo 2 anymore exept the skins (i think)

Halo 2 is still completely moddable, or else all the mods and trainers and things for Halo 2 that have come out have been in vain...

It's the modding on xbox Live that is harder (or impossible) to do. I really don't care, because I don't have xbox Live, but if you don't sign in to live afaik, you won't get banned (but the Xbox was always sketchy about when you're connected to the internet)

oh yeah, I found this after about 1 minute of searching xbox-scene, so don't tell me it's not out there...

admins, if you don't like me posing this, please delete this post and notify me, I don't want to be banned from a forum of such caliber as this...
