New disc

I want to put Halo on a new disc, but when I try to start Custom Edition with the disc I burned it says insert disk. Can anyone help me?

i think its because it might have an anti copying code thing on it or something (please correct me if im wrong), because they dont want people copying and distributing illegal copies of discs.

Gah. Don't talk about this kind of stuff. I'm not sure if backups are legal, but I wouldn't do it, I mean the halo CD is a lousy $12...

I'd rather just pay that money than risk breaking the law.
