ok, i know how to get to too land all, but wtf is it for and how do i use it?i treid to use it in command prompt and i have no idea how to use it or why

Copy cmd.exe into your halo CE root directory. Then click on cmd (in halo CE folder) and type tool and hit enter to see the commands you can do.

Tool++ is also great if you don't want to type in tool in cmd to see how to format all of the commands. It is by monoxideC. I use it sometimes, but I know the commands pretty well now.

Well, type the command in exactly correct, otherwise it won't work.

Yeah, in the course of making a map, you have to use Bitamaps, Structure, and Build-Cache-File. I don't think any other ones are required, except lighting (radiosity) which I usually just do in sapien. It CAN be done right in tool though.

do rdiosity through tool.
+=takes not much memory and its faster
-=in sapien it looks not so good

wat exactly is the command for radiosity in tool and do u have to save the lightmaps to someplace
