first off your goning to think this is just another on of thoes questions but please stay with me.

okay i recently uninstalled halo and right as i clicked ok i remembered i needed my cd key, now i cant find it at the moment.

~BUT~

i also have halo custom edition installed. and i used the cd key i have for reg halo for CE.

what i was wondering was if there is any way of recovering a cd key from a game u have installed thru your computer

in no way am i asking for anybodys cd key code. im just wondering if i can find out the key that i use 2 install halo ce so i can reinstall halo

I believe you can just buy a new key from microsoft for about $5 or something.

Yeah. Just call microsoft if you can't figure out how to retrieve your key from CE.

actually i dont think u can do that with games unless u have the serial number which u need halo installed to get it, but i could be wrong but i know 4 sure there going to ask where your cd key is and if u let sum 1 borrow it then u loose your halo registration so yah wach wat u do

dont even try useing any ones CD key besides ur oun it will install
the game if u use someone elses cd key but when u go to play halo it will say
Wrong Cd Key please reinstall game or something like that it happened 2 me
