Mainmenu.map Modding Help

Whenever I mod mainmenu.map to have another map, it doesn't work. I followed a tut exactly, and when I try to play it, it says I failed to load the map. Also, can someone tell me how to remove the blue filter? (don't just give me a ppf, I want to actually know how.)

Did you sign both the Map you modded *even changing the name requires signing* AND the Main Menu?
