Megamanation X 1-3 Mod for Coagulation

Ok This mod is based after MY Favorite game series of MegaMan X. This mod is based off of the first 3 in the series I took the Weapons from all 3 and chose the ones that could best be translated to Halo 2 but remember its not the same and the vehicles are also BASED after those in the game But are NOWHERE CLOSE TO THE ORIGINALS so heres a list of changes and enjoy my mod

Oh and heres a description and one of those map pics incase you wanna add them in when / if you add this to your main menu

Description: Welcome to Maverick Hunter Training Arean X123 Practice the arts of the hunter and prepare for battle

Weapons:X-Buster (X-Bstr) From All What a pitiful weapon
Shotgun Ice (sht-Ice):From X1 Shoots out an icey projectile
Electric Spark (EMG) :From X1 Shoots out an electrifyed bolt
Rolling Shield (R-Shield):From X1 Pick it up and Defend Yourself
Homing Torpedoe (Homing-Torpedoe)From X1 Fire and it will follow
Chameleon Sting (Chmen-Stng) From X1 Fire a sting of pain or Cloak
Storm Tornado (Strm-Tornado) From X1 whoosh wow he went flying
Cyrstal Haze (Crstle-H) From X2 I cant see
Bubble Stream (Bubble-Streamer) From X2 oh can i touch em
Silk Shot (Silk-Streamer) From X2 I cant move
Magnet Mine (Magnet-Mines) From X2 Hah you missed huh oh crap
Giga Crush (Giga-Crusher) From X2 Holy Crap what is that
Power Bomb (Power-Bomb) From X3 what a boom

bam downloaded! i play the x games and any other megaman games nonstop as it is this looks terrific, i understand each weapon and what it originally was, should be interested to see it applied within this game! ill post any commentaries later

Sorry about double post, but i said id get back to ya.

So far i like it, seems good for CTF with those plasma rifles!

I dont understand the sentinal beam though, has no effect concerning damage/movement. I love the shields, but do they stop damage actually? im testing it on splitscreen now and they dont seem to help...id say itd be fine for them to be impervious even, grenades and assasinations/whatever would still be effective, and it would really add alot of strategy in larger multiplayer games. p.s. ( yes i did try to duel wield them lol, im weird i know)

starting xbuster is pretty weak but has so much ammo it can make up for it. maybe the sword reach could be longer? the dash move is always a hit in X games, as you know :) .

I dont notice a difference really in plasma grenades, still effective though. great plasma pistol by the way! maybe something like the 3-shot burst from the battle rifle since it was a tri shot in x1? there would be the whole still being able to charge dilemea though..

All the weapons seem nice and balanced, its not like everyones going to rush for that one ultimate gun that blows up half the field lol.

While i was playing it i was thinking a few things to make it more like X games would be a little higher jumping (we all know how vital that can be)
and something like while crouched your run speed would be faster, reminicent of the slide/dash moves? A few things like that would really make it more like the X games.

Vehicles are nice, warthog turret is effective and the banshee gun tears it up! :) i like the "Ride(vehicle)" name changes too.

the skins on the scenery were a nice touch, kinda have that nonstop war look from all the outdoor X scenes/levels. i dont remember if the sky was changed or not.

Homing rockets are cool, i like the 6 shots, and theyre not over the top homing you can avoid them, but one picked me off mid-jump from halfway across the map!

Overall i think this was a great mod, coag worked well as a map choice too, i dont know if your doing different maps for the other ones your planning on or not, but good choice this time at least! It's got my vote/praise/whatevers good.

I recommend everyone whos viewing this to give it a try, whether youve played these games or not, its still a really fun mod that is easy to understand, but still has lots of surprises and replay value

although silent edge isnt on right now (that i know of) i must say thanks for that kinda feedback!
its obvious that u actually played this map, thoroughly i may add (moreso than i :))

and although i cant totally speak about the shield much since i have not injected one for myself before...but if you can give its hlmt a [coll] which actually stops bullets!
so far my reccomendation is either the ghost's coll or the MC's (so it actually blocs from the front).

i have a question that is a jackal shield right?

does it actually block the bullets?

what collision did u use?

did you inject collision?

btw i tried jackal shield yesterday and no worky it showed up i could pick it up but it doesnt block bullets

yeah the sentinals stun effect dosent wrk right im trying to get it fixed and the shield is only equipable in the left hand and can only stop a bullet in the very center im wrkin out that part

that is what took the longest to wrk out

yeah i was originally planning on having the jump a bit higher and that dash idea is pretty good

unfortunatley the sky has not yet been changed

yeah i wanted them to home but then i was afraid they would be unstoppable so they take 2-3 to actually kill

Hey! Yeah those rockets would be unstoppable, theyre about the right strength. I tried this splitscreen with a friend just a regular slayer match and it worked well, after the shield and sent.beam are fixed i'll probably play it with someone on KAI.

The beam rifle was the gun to go for, no other weapons can really counter it that effectivly at long range. another thing i was going to ask is when the sentinal beam is going to stun you, will you still be able to pivot where your looking, like the "target the squares" on tutorial SP. Just because with it doing no damage at all it needs something good to be of use ya know? longer range and more ammo? you could freeze a sniper if your a good shot, and run up to him still firing and melee, but right now the ammo is gone way to quick, either way when its working it'll be a fun weapon.

Those tornado plasma rifles were the best, we were tossing eachother around half the game. maybe a smoke contrail or something would make it more looking like the storm tornado from x1?

so the only real thing to do is what scottygee said pertaining to the shields, otherwise this was a hit on multiplayer, definatly a keeper.

ok i was testing out the map with different settings and heres a do and dont list well actually more of a dont lol

u can use turrets

do not play with wraiths or specters they will freeze the map

you can play with the tank but i dont recomend it cuz it takes away the feel of the map

and i suggest u leave all the weapon settings on map default but i f you dont they wrk but it takes away from the theme so to fully enjoy this mod Leave Every Thing On Default but all game types like ctf assult and slayer will wrk do not use ctf wraiths though
