my uncle is going to get me hek does anyone know if thats any good for modding?

Well, the HEK is basically all you will use for modding, so wether its good for modding or not, it doesn't matter. For halo CE, thats all you can do with it is make new maps. And you don't have to wait for your uncle to get it for you, its free. Search it on google. It comes with Sapien, Guerilla, and Tool.

The only other thing you will need is 3ds max/gmax. You can get that at http://www.discreet.com

or u can do it the fun way and use a program and download it for free for the full version...but that would be WRONG
