really need help

i really need help on trying to creat a map but thears always a problem
the problems i have is trying to export the jms file in 3dsmax6 it always said 3dsmax has a problem and must shut down as soon as i click it to save as a jms file that happens and another problem is tool when i type [tool structure levels\splinter splinter] it said always
couldnt read map file './toolbeta.map'
buliding intermediate geometry...
bulding collision geometry...

### ERROR couldnt update edge #877 (red).
### ERROR couldnt update edge #882 (red).
### ERROR couldnt update edge #916 (red).
### ERROR couldnt update edge #903 (red).
### ERROR couldnt update edge #915 (red).
### ERROR failed to build collision geometry.
### ERROR failed to import collision bsp.

so how do i fix this problem?caus i really want to make a map
