I'm trying to set up an IRC bot that I downloaded from this site to monitor stats and help moderate/admin patrons and clan members on our servers. I'm totally new to Halo and server modifications and I would greatly appreciate any help you all can provide in getting the bot running.
I have veiwed and followed the steps on the web site listed for this bot. My confusion comes as this:
A) I'm not sure what exactly it's requesting for a username, nickname, real name and password. i.e. Is this server admin user/pass, a Messenger password, a Halo profile name, etc B) Does this bot need to be installed on the server itself, and if so . . . how does one interact with the cpanel while it's on a server, and not on a local PC? C) In the screen to list admins for the bot, what is it requesting as "Hash Files", where do I find them and how do I properly direct the bot to them? (and possibly an explaination as to "why" it's asking for other people's hash files would be great)Again, thanks for any help and support you can offer.
