Profile NAME: Halo 2.

Hello.

I cant use symbols in my name.

it says: IVALID Name

Sorry, you can't use symbols to name your profile.
But when i play online i see some people using symbols.
i see: [DF] nameofplayer.
but when i add that i get that error.
how they do that?

To be honest, I don't know what the problem is for you, I can put any character that I want in it (so far), I use brackets for me name and everything. I'm sorry I really don't know. <-- thats for Halo PC

Oh I just noticed something (sry) is this for Halo XBOX Online? If so then I really would not know because I do not have my XBOX connected to the internet. (for Halo XBOX (not connected to the internet I just use () and it works fine)

Halo PC allows symbols, Xbox Halo doesn't

That's all I know.

In Halo2 you can join clans and stuff. Lets say there is a clan called Demonic Brooms. the short could be [DB]. When joined with the clan it might automatically play the [DB] infront of your name...

I have no idea, though.
