Yeah I have a 9600XT an when I play at useFF it lags more than usual. I know most ppl would be like "so? your graphics are better" but I like ugle graphics, anyone know how I can fix teh problem?
To get the really ugly, you need to turn your shaders from pixel shaders to No Shaders. Then, go into your halo options and turn every thing down to the lowest. I have the same video card as you, and with all the settings on their lowest settings, I got 200 FPS on blood gulch.
