I need help installing mods

ok I just signed up so im not sure if this is in the right forum

Ok I dunno where to put .rar files

I know im pathetic because I cant find where to put the .rar file

Go to google and type in WinRar, and find a program called WinRar, and download it.

Next, install that. After it's done, double click on the .rar file, and it will open up. At this point, you will need either HMT or PPF o matic.... Which mod are you installing?
