Help?

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Help?

Post by machopenguin001 »

Hello again, I am trying to model some pyramid-like things on the outside of my model. Only, on the bottom of the model when I extruded them as squares (so I could just move the vertexs around to get the desired effect) I got this weird error!

I know it is overlapping surfaces but, when I moved the vertexs to not overlap, they just moved some essential verteces to places they were not supposed to be in! Here's what I want it to look like:

Here is the errored piece o shit I made:

It is suposed to slope up at a 45* angle on all sides.

I will not be releasing this to the public, or showing anyone this, go ahead and guess what it is, but even if you do I won't tell you if you did.
Good bye. So long. I hope we never meet again. F u halomods.com

Did you mirror the model? If so, select half of it, as they will not be welded together, the button to select a whole mesh looks like a red 3d cube, if you put your mouse over it, it will show "Element". Then just move that out of the way, and then move the verteces and move them back together.
