I am really anxious to make a good vehicle but I am going to need quite some guidance. I have put two vehicles ingame so far, one of them was a flyer that didnt shoot and hte other was a ghost-type that didnt move. None of them had animations because I dont know how, and both of them had collision weirdness, as in there seemed to be a little square of collision geometry int he middle but nothing else.
I need to know/need help with the following:
1. What are the steps that need to be take to have trigger animations (the animation only happens when I do something instead of looping, as in the door shutting when I get in, or the tires spinning only when I am driving)?
2. Is it neccesary for my vehicle to have perfect collision geometry (or can I just shape a box that fits roughly around the sides of my vehicle)?
3. How would I know hwat values to put into my .vehicle tags and other appropriate tags. There are maxtrices and other complex tables with values htat I don't knwo the meaning of.
I know that there a many people out htat that know the answer to at least one of these questions. So if you happen to pass upon this and you have enough time on your hands even for a short helpful answer I would be very greatful.
Thank you, and you can stop reading now.

I can help. Forst of all, animations take a while to make and you have to be very good in order to make them the way you want. Plus you can make a custom animations for MC without deleting the other animations. For trigger animations you might have to look in some gbx models in 3dsmax6 with james' script.
As for the collision-geometry, it does not have to be perfect. A rough collision model make out of boxes is good enough.
And the complicated things in the .vehicle tag, just ingore them. Fill in the basic things of the vehicle to at least make it work. Unless you got the basics down, then you can mess with the hextrices or whatever.
Hope this helps.
