Anyone interested in doing a New York City Map? I need a programmer skinners, mappers, and some more modelers (Got one!) . Any help would be very helpful because I don't know how to make a map :( but I will be over seeing the project to make sure it's good. Thanks again!

it would take forever if you plan on makeing it super-detailed. just focus on what you need to make a nice level, not a giaganticly complex one

I'm not plainning on making it super-detailed because of lag and fps. So you don't have to worry about that :D

you don't have to make it super-detailed thru the geometry, you can make super-detailed skins and it'll be the same. the lower the polys, the easier it is to skin. although it will take you a long time to produce the textures that will be skinned to all the buildings unless you're really good at graphic editing.

all u would have to do is make a flat level and make the building scenery..that would be the easiest thing to do...and for the textures make a couple of rodes and ur done...exept for the lights adn the stop signs and the textures for the buoldings
