It's a cool idea and it is very well done, visually, anyway. But the map itself is just too complicated, it feels HUGE. Just look at all the different possibilities in one CTF match alone. You could probably spend half an hour trying to get your flag back...
Summary: I like New Mombassa, but it just feels too big.
was that a joke shadowbreaker?
lol mombasa is already a lagfiesta in a full server sometimes
if there is a 32 player patch then its actually gonna suck unless they can fix lag even more
how did you find out about it?
Anyways the only reason i dont like new mombassa is because every body gets mad and start saying bad words and stuff i wish their was a way to block them so i dont got to hear it

}{Don't slam me cause i ask noobish questions. You were a noob too}{
I donwloaded from the link in the gearbox forums. In the thread about New mombassa release. Then you uncompress it if its a .zip use winzip if its .rar use winrar. Then take the extracted .map and put it in you C:/program files/microsoft games/haloCE/maps folder

I did all that, it keeps rejecting it. It says something about something not installed right. It's making me mad. I'm wondering if its corrupte somehow. I got it from here.
the roads and most of the walls have good textures in my opinion....its just the sides of the skyscrapers and the parking garage things that u can snipe from
None of that is what bothers me, it LOOKS fine... It's just the scope of it that's baffling. You could probably spend half an hour just trying to get the damn flag back. Raise your hand if you think looking for ONE GUY in New Mombassa for half an hour would be fun.
