You all neglected to see the purpose of the weapon.
All the noobs that can't wait for the map to come out wanted at least one custom weapon in it, so I gave them one, if I wanted to make a good looking gun I would spend more than a half hour modeling it, maybe a few days.

because we all know that you showing that gun communicates that the map is almost done...
showing a render of the gun with bad text over it and "coming soon" in tiny font doesn't really tell us easily that the map is almost done...

Ok im getting tired of this, most of you hate it because it's not well modeled. Big fucking deal. I don't go into halo and glory over how fantastic this certain wall was modeled, or this gun, or the foot or whatever. I tend to move towards what looks original. A long lost word in this community, the thing that goes here now is: if it isn't hard, it isn't good.
Originality plays one of the biggest roles in gameplay, I don't just fancy over how hard it looks to make, and worship whover made it forever.
I'll admit, that gun doesn't look like the best gun model I've ever seen, but I don't give a shit. All I'm wondering when I see it is, wtf does it do?
I could only wish more people around here were more open minded like me, but that's a pretty big wish considering theres so many damn Elitests around here

They are simple but they take an old concept and give it an original spin.

Exactly, I play stuff that is fun and enjoyable, not surreal and amazing for 2 minutes until you see all the cool modeling, and it gets old fast because it has crappy gameplay, and was made for the soul purpose of eye candy.metkillerjoe wrote:I feel the same way.
