ace i told elite to go with it and run it through to see if the stl check was good. my HEK is screwed so elite did me the favor of actually getting it checked. he even fixed all the errors. if it weren't for that, this would be pushed back another month. that's the only thing that's gone thru HEK. so thanks to him, our bsp is errorless and will work. there has been no beta, nothing to worry about ace. we can't run a beta without you and your work anyways. i have lots of bitmaps for last stand so when i see you on i'll give em to you. hopefully you're not spending your 1-2 hours on your comp with porn lol. we need the scenery vehicles and exploding gas truck to be tagged. we don't want to run a beta without that stuff then go, "well shit it worked in the test map", yaknowwhati'msayin?

so as far as my work goes, it's good and done, but only thanks to elite's help. we can all chillax now. matter of fact, ace, send me the scenery pieces you have (trucks etc), and then i can go ahead and do some nice renders which i'm sure everyone wants to see. Elite, please pm me the corrected version of the bsp. thanks everyone.

wow taht might have been a little harsh. You ,never having worked on a BSP to my knowledge, don't know the effort that goes into it and him having done it with this big of a project... Well i apluad him for that. Give the man a break (elite)

Aight before you go yapping yo trap biatch think before you speak I DONT MAP. I DO HEK. What do you think ive been DOING. Dang man Plus Look a Few pages back for all the Modeling ive done maybe you'll remember then dude. I modeled all the trucks and stuff. Plus that Famous BR is mine. ANd Falcon and I have Both modeled those H2 models in those renders so Before You say I havn't Done anything in this project think about it. Plus Snaf and I go threw RIGOURUS Planning for this map. Ya I do the Equalivent as Snaf does with the BSP in my work of skinning modeling HEKing, Bla bla planning and Now Plotting the STory Line to last stand SO I CAN ANIMATE A FULL LENGTH MOVIE OF LAST STAND. HUH HUH? Whats that Ace? Oh oh maybe I should just quit that hmm... So go screw ursELF ADAM

Ace why are you so mad when I actually got the bsp compiled? Why are you pissed off for me doing that? I don't see what's wrong. These were orders from snaf anyways.

To snaf: Dude sorry I didn't pm you a beta. The radiosity running takes ages. When I'm finished with the internet for the day i'll leave my computer on for radiosity running.

Known things in the beta:
-Bridge had errors so I stuffed one in myself
-Road also had errors so I made one myself and put it in there
-Destroyed sniper tower had errors so that's been deleted for now
-One building is just a plain box

I think that's it. Everything will be in the final.

Hey I'm going to leave my computer on for radiosity running when I go out today. It takes over 2 hours to complete for all I know. Hopefully it'll be finished by the time I get back. If not. I'll leave it on over night.

STL check is very effective I find, dont use it too often tho. Can't wait for this!

STL check has saved me so many times. I love it. But sometimes it misses a couple things, which can be easily fixed when importing the .wrl file.

So then in theend they work together to become perfect

guys that appears to be a cool looking map you got coming out...I have one suggestion about that road - don't hate if you don't like it - just don't use it. :) I'll play the map regardless..hehehe.

That end of that road - what if you made it more jagged and bent some of those steel rods up a bit..maybe even have one hanging down with a chunk of concrete on it.

There, I said it.. :) But regardless - its looking cool!

PS. What if those to sections of road humped up at the end so you could do warthog jumps from one side to the other but were far enough apart so if you didn't do it just right you fell down off the road? You could do that and still make it look like an explosion did it....anywho..I'm excited about the map - keep up the awesome job guys.

Lol, what a first class sudgestion! Haha, that ammuses me. The next suddgestion, it could work, it would have to be a like another break in the road, which is very likely.

The existing road just prior to the hole can't just be altered to hump up by detaching the faces and angling that piece road up by rotating the newly-detached 'model'?

Again, no biggie if you can't/don't want to - just a thought :)

Making it would be no problem at all, sticking a hump in the road is a piece of cake.

yeh but the craters wouldn't let you get up to speed :) and those are not a pain to take out, but yeh, wartorn, needs craters :P

guys - its your map (as I'm sure you are very aware :) ) - my suggestion was one I thought might add extra fun to it, and I agree it should have craters, but there placement could be anywhere.

I will let you guys decide whether or not you want it in there (like I had a choice LOL) and I'll happily enjoy it, hump or no hump, it is just my humble opinion that a jump hump similar to the one in Danger Canyon, but within the flavor of the map would add value- I know I've had many a fun jump on my way to or from a flag raid.
