I havent played battlefront, but I've seend the screenshots and theyre pretty cool.. Alot of LucasArts games are good... but there seems to be lacking a simple way of gaming... like in Jedi Academy... THERE are UNLIMITED skins, and weapons and vehicles, and so on... crazy (not that its bad)
But, halo just carries the plain simplicity which I like the best because youre focusing in the game and not at the game like LucasArts...
My Fav list so far
1. Halo
2. Jedi Academy

no its not a carbine... its big, quite big... look at the new screenies
whooaa, this is too freaky... those are my two favorite games (well, only good recent games)

speaking of recent games,
i like halo the best, and halo 2 will, if any of you actually believe it,
be my SECOND game on my faves list.
WHY?
here are the reasons:
1. the original games are almost always better than the c-quills.
2. the sequels usually lack the creativity of the original. they work off of the previous game's popularity.
3. the sequels, with some that i have encountered, almost always have WAY too many things to memorize how to do. i mean, it's not that hard, but it is SO frustrating when you have to pull off a button combo and you screw up on the tenth move and have to start it ovber, even though your opportunity to use it is over.
now with halo, it probably will not be like this. BUT it does apply to thinggee no. 2. it's graphix are better, and it is almost the same thing, but theyve added in some stuff... it isn't much different.
I'm sure halo 2 will be a HUGE hit... but it wont be the same as halo # 1, in blood gulch, murduring ur friends just for fun in an all out, no holds barred killing session. its just for some reason not the same.
Sure it looks better, and im sure more people will buy it, and im almost as sure that half of the school going population is going to be "sick" on November ninth, and the teachers will not be very happy and it will look VERY suspicious.
But i am a hard core halo fan to the bone. i'm even getting a tattoo on my arm that says "HALO 2 OR BUST.", and on the other, its gonna say: "BUT HALO IS STILL BETTER."
that is how hard core i am about originals.
ill post the pic as soon as i get it on photobcket.

why seriously get a tattoo of a game? its JUST a game..i mean did it somehow change your life? did it make you a better person or something? please explain? I would figure something as perminant as a tattoo would involve something more spiritual and meaningful then just a game...don't get me wrong...im fond of the game and all (My company is based of the "ten" symbol on the back of akuma of streetfighter but its based on the meaning of the symbol)...just wondering?
ANYWYA since this thread is dying imma liven it back up...Ok so people have been talking about the single player story line but less we forget, the story line could be great but the game could suck (hold on hear me out!)...
nobody has mentioned anything about single player game play...like is duel weilding gonna be necissary? (im not good with john woo style things), will the areas stil be open and war-like (such as in aotcr) in this version? Will there be xbob proformance issues such as in the first halo when to much things were going on...(yes there was slow down don't lie). discuss discuss discusss.....

ABIDDIBLE YOUR NEW SIGGY OWNS DOOD matrix halo (hmmm)...and your the only one that has the purple i was waiting for a good purple siggy.
ANyway i was wondering...has anybody also noted the color changes in halo and halo 2? For example, the primary colors used in halo where blue and gray, in halo 2 is purple and gray. i know (from art) blue gives humans a feeling of trust and i know red is a feeling of anger and passion...so red and blue (which make purple) means TRUST YOUR ANGER! Or follow your heart depends on you i guess...glass is half empty sorta thing...ok im babbling

What i thought...
I really wanted Halo 2.. I had an XBox.. Heck i went to the store at like 12 am in da mornin it was due to be released and waited there with a load of other people cos the store opened at 12 am to sell it to us, lol...
I completed it but then found myself returning to the earlier levels cos i enjoyed them more.. The graphics were really good but the game just wasn't as big as it's predoccesor.. There just wasn't the shear size of levels like there were in the one before hand.. The over all game for me was just too short...
IF it ever came to pc then yes i would play it but probably for the online gaming and maybe do some missions if i had nothing else to do..
But i doubt Bungie will release it on pc cos they're too obsessed with XBox by the looks of it...
Oh well...
Over all i ended up taking the game back!
