2nd, maybe they will have some sort of editor where you can select a wall and stretch it to your liking.... I hope this wont be as dissapointing as when forge came out.

They could always release another disc with all this new stuff on it. They dot necessarily have to update the current engine.

After seeing the end of the video with MC standing in the unfinished piece of a building on that grid background I'm gonna be severely disappointed if its not some sort of map creation tool.

I'm pretty sure it's just a WIP DLC map, let's be honest, a map creation toll is pretty far fetched.

Well, on second thought, I don't think you could control the NPC's, but it still would be cool to place them.

And if it's a BSP-maker, imagine thousands of noobs trying to balance walls. Epic lol.

It looked like it's something along the lines of a custom map maker, but I highly doubt it. Im sure that it could be easily exploited.

It's probably just a new map they're working on. Although it'd be nice if it was something else.

meh kinda like farcry map editor


Edit: to people who havent played farcry or made a map, you can place objects like weapons spawns builds etc BUT edit the ground geometry to fit your needs but on exterior stuff, but if they add a sim like map editor i could be good or like guerrilla

Isnt it bossible to place AI in forge maps with the halmods moddind tools. Or maby but I doubt this is correct but maby Anthony or someone else with CON privleges is playing a joke

Well, seeing as how Bungie said that they cannot edit the Forge Palette on a map once it's been set, then I'm assuming this is going to be on a new disk. Notice how the AI was placed on Rat's Nest, and it's Forge Palette has already been set. :P

That just looks like a modded Rat's Nest. The Flood Tank melees at a very specific time, so I think that it might be player controlled, replacing the Elite. The others just look like bipds spawned on the map. I think that the modded Rat's Nest was just made for that video. The bit at the end looks like a Foundry style, built from the ground up map. The Spartan in that map is all blue, so I think that the blue grid on the floor only shows up in forge mode.

There's no evidence to suggest it melees at a specific time. Also make note that they record the dialog and add it to the video of a head bobbing, meaning they would be matching the audio to the content, not the content to the speaking.

I'm not sure I understand. What does the player's color have to do with anything? The environment wouldn't be affected by the player, that would just be obscure and pointless. I again don't see what you're trying to say about 'the grid only showing up in Forge mode.' Are you suggesting it wouldn't show up in play mode, if the map sections had not be placed? An infinite abyss probably wouldn't be the best way to handle that situation when you could just have the grid there..
