Yeah, at first your like wtf swinging your knife and not going into the animation, but you learn there's a delay once you play enough and the knife works a lot better.

A demo should make you want to buy the game. If the developer is not good enough to produce a worthwhile demo, I do not trust them to produce a worthwhile game.

Question: in the demo-I couldn't tell very much-is this Turok the same style as the other ones? That's really what's persuading me to like the game so much, is how much I loved the previous ones.

Haven't you played it? If you like it or don't is what should decide if you buy it, not whether or not other people think it's like the previous games.

You played the previous games.
You played the demo.
You don't know if they're similar.
Yet you're persuaded to buy it if it is.

I guess I just completely fail to see how you can not know, and since you do not know, why that matters at all. Whether or not it's like the others has nothing to do with whether or not you think the game is good.

well for my generation it basically has to live up to the game play of the original n64 version Dinosaur Hunter. sure you dont have the Chronoceptor which would destroy everything in one shot but think of mp as like this

Perfect Dark, Turok, Halo, Duke Nukem combined to create a new multiplayer which is amazing the campagin though is just as fun but the Co-op is lame only 3 levels and you have 4 lives total so u better have 4 people playing with you.

personally looking at the game play, the audio, and the graphics make this game unique and thrilling...and besides who doesnt love TONS OF BLOOD?

the demo doesnt do it justice the voice acting in it was terrible for a demo actual gameplay is way better, and there is no mp demo which they should do cause thats what makes this game.

That still doesn't make any sense as to why he cares if it's like the others, even though he has played it. If he can't tell, why does it matter at all? That is illogical.

True but what he should tell himself to make a decision is do you like to be RAMBO? if yes then buy the game if no then don't...its that simple am i right?

I think the fact that hes played the N64 version and the New demo, and still has to ask if they are the same should tell him right away that there not the same.

Or maybe hes asking if the story lines follow the same trend. Like the 360 game is the same story as the n64 one just in a shiny new box.

Clarification needed.

He said style, which is what confuses me. That shouldn't have any impact on his decision. If he had said story, it would be entirely different.

The point is, what.

see now that the thing the story line is we are hunting this criminal who turok was formarly involved with when a missle shoots them down and they crash land on this planet full of dinosaurs. its all about escape then and getting off the planet while maybe killing this guy at the same time if at all possible. you are looked upon as a traitor by multiple people when you go out on missions and come back 1 or 2 or no back up remaining, especially when one of them was killed with a bow and arrow like the one on your back. you and only you know the truth about what happened and have to prove you are not a traitor.

the game is a new story line the audio and some gameplay stays true to the original. the multiplayer is all new and a lot more challenging. the single player is intense and indepth with multiple plot twists and obsticles. it keeps getting bad ratings because people judge it soly on the demo and not physical gameplay. you all should try it even if you think you dont like it rent it from block buster or gamefly or where ever but try it and play single player its alot of fun if you like a lot of blood. oh yeah there are alot of sfx from the original game listen to when you are playing and you will hear them.

-_-

It's curiosity. All I get from the demo is a little taste, but not the whole meal. I'm just wondering if it's the same style as the previous Turoks. Nothing big, it has no effect on how much I want the game really. I liked the demo.
