I recommend setting up a second halo icon for hosting games with the
console enabled.

why? what's wrong with having the console enabled in a normal game?

oh, that's right. nothing.

join another person's server? ever hear of rcon? even if they don't have rcon, the console just won't work.

better to have it when you don't need it, than to not have it when you doneed it.
