I'm gonna pass it down (with my xbox ) though my family until it's a tradition.
And my family will be the only family with the all-time greatest game.
Better than any game will ever get.
And I got 50 more games to pass down with it .

PS2 is not as far behind as you think...there are the few people who dont like halo and dont think its worth buying an xbox for...plus PS2 is mostly for sports games (dont fool yourself) and thats there major buying power so most people into sports (which is a majority) will have an ps2 before xbox. I support xbox myself even though i have an ps2 only because it deals with games i like (sept for fighting games come on microsoft how about an good xbox only fighter...), I mean if you want to break it down the controls even prove it....xbox controller is great for fps, and adventure games....ps2 is good for fighting and sports games....gamecube is adventure and puzzle...all are pretty good for driving games. Not to mention its easy to make regurgitated (spelling eh) games and clones for ps2 which is why they have more games then anybody....not to mention backwards compaitibility (but who really cares about it).

Ok Now about halo 2...will rule...will cause more sells in xbox...but a lot of people will just wait and rent it over n over n over again. (blockbuster 2 dolla rentals rule!) Me personally i would buy it though. Halo 2 PC would be in 2 years after original sell...(if gearbox feels like dealing with it).

My PS2 is broken. No GTA:SA for awhile.

As for Halo2, sure it'll be sweet but you all have to face it. Halo isn't the greatest game ever and Halo2 isn't going to be either. Sure they're fun and blahblahblah, but they just can't compete with SMB3. I mean, where can you get in a shoe and jump on turtles and get eaten by a plant in Halo?

Not to mention a lot of the things in Halo2 should've been in Halo to start with. Dual wielding? C'mon, Goldeneye had dual wielding. Energy sword? Should've been there in the first place. Better graphics? Halo2 is coming out for XBOX, the same hardware Halo uses, no reason Halo shouldn't be able to handle Halo2 graphics in the first place. Online play? I'll give you that one. Ridiculous, almost obscene overuse of bump mapping? Halo has enough bump mapping as it is, this is borderline excessive.

/me goes off to make picture chart of FPS characters to show you that they're all pretty much the same.

My bro had a ps2, I though it sucked so e sold it.
He got an xbox after, he said he's just gonna wait for halo2 for that. I mainly want those new levels. But I'm not with MC's new glass thingy.
The old one looked nice, and the new one look a bit cheap sometimes.
But I finnaly see a jackal get a plasma rifle for once!

And the ghost glowing looks real nice

. But the stealing vechiles and weilding I bet can really boost-up the ratings!

because its detoriating my life!

u imagine not having a computer for 2 WEEKS!! 2!!

but having a computer but everything is limited, now thats torture, I mean if I went on vacation and had no computer for 2 weeks, ok... but when u have a computer in front of ya and it limits u to what u can do and ur friends are making sigs, and u cant... THATS FRUSTRATING!!!

I should be happy in a week...

Lets compare Halo 2 to Starwars: Battlefront..... Since Halo 2 isnt out yet.... this would be a good dissuccion right after the fact cause Battlefront actually beats Halo.... sorry.... Battlefront is too addicting!!! but battlefront does have its downsides.... its always the same objective.... capture a command post

ok... interesting post

I havent played battlefront, but I've seend the screenshots and theyre pretty cool.. Alot of LucasArts games are good... but there seems to be lacking a simple way of gaming... like in Jedi Academy... THERE are UNLIMITED skins, and weapons and vehicles, and so on... crazy (not that its bad)

But, halo just carries the plain simplicity which I like the best because youre focusing in the game and not at the game like LucasArts...

not for a loooong time, thats all i know, and i like both aiming in halo, because in xbox your aiming goes at one speed depending on how hard you hit the stick, and in pc if youre aiming is harder to keep at a constant speed, but i like pc better because its easier controlling it
