LAAG turret vehicle tag

Yeah, I can just add a circular thing underneath with Max. Now I looked at the animations, and I created a blank animation tag. Then I compiled it with tool and it told me which animations were being over written if I continued, one of which was firing. I think this might be a key for taking the already made animations but I don't quite know how to do it. I'll post what tool tells me a bit later. I gotta date to get to. When I get back I'll post it.

no just make a new .vehicle tag but plug in the hog animations for the turret. the leftover stuff (driving and stuff) shouldn't get triggered. then just use everything from that model (gbx and collision) and plug in the weapon of the hog.
anyways on the custom turret we just need a collision then we can set up a test run for it in the game

this is a good idea for a stationary defence turret but isnt it a bit "un-protected" in the front? if you guys have really good skills at modding could you try making energy shields on the sides when the turret activates but leaving the back un-protected just for a weakness. and when someone shoots it w/ a rocket or a grenade they destroy the shields making them vulnerable for 1min. just some ideas.

sry. forgot to login up there.[edit] and the shields wont be like directly to the left or right of the character they could go about 1 foot out from the turret is what i meant to say. [edit]

well the turret could be destroyable to make some things fair. i mean this kind of turret could be some thing that shoots 50 rounds then has to reload which could take 3 seconds giving the enemy a chance to make a run for it. there could also be some walls w/ gaps between them for the people to hide behind while the people are shooting. and making the defence harder to kill makes people work together to kill the turret instead of each other. i know some people out here are sometimes arrogant and if someone accidentally killed them theyd be on their case about it until their needs are satisfied.
