Hey nice work guys, looking really great, although i dunno about the test texture on the SMG...... lol
The base should be cool, the thing about not being able to see all of zanzibar is good meaning you can add your own 'touch' to it.
And why does the windmill need to be 'linked' to the power thingy, you could just have two scenery objects both animated couldnt you?
SMG's looking awsome, hope the battle rifle is just as good along with the energy sword and r/hog.
And one question to all those gun makers, do you make one skin that wraps around the gun nicely or do you guys make a bunch of skins that fit nicely together?
Nice work guys, cant wait to play it.

Don't worry about that one, I was just testing UVW... That was actually my first unwrapped model...peabnuts123 wrote:Hey nice work guys, looking really great, although i dunno about the test texture on the SMG...... lol
We'd love to, but the only thing we'll be able to do our touches on will be the stairways in and out of the base (although we have contact with some guys who already played it, so we can easily ask them).peabnuts123 wrote:The base should be cool, the thing about not being able to see all of zanzibar is good meaning you can add your own 'touch' to it.
That could be another solution... But if we did, both things could get out of sync... Even though that's not a bad thing, we still want to avoid it.peabnuts123 wrote:And why does the windmill need to be 'linked' to the power thingy, you could just have two scenery objects both animated couldnt you?

Well, we have a smg_handle, smg_grip, smg_ammo_l and r and smg_backside, so we all have different textures so we can quickly remodel 1 thing if we don't like a part of it, instead of remodeling the whole thing. Easier, and it will be more detailed because of that.peabnuts123 wrote:And one question to all those gun makers, do you make one skin that wraps around the gun nicely or do you guys make a bunch of skins that fit nicely together?
