Kirk Tutorials - Can I use Photoshop instead of Paintshop?

This was asked back when the tutorials first came out. I searched for about 10 minutes through the forums but couldnt find it. Can anyone help me out? Im on step one at the part with the mask stuff. Im using Photoshop though. Not Paintshop. Please help me.

yes you can use photoshop
