Zanzibar Weekly Update 2

Post by Stefander »

OK, the update's a few hours late, but still, it's good. We were having some problems with the team for the last 2 days, discussing about what competition we were having. Turns out there was someone else working on the level in secret, so that scared the team for a bit (some were even at the point of leaving the team). But, don't cry, it's not over yet, even though this update is somewhat shorter than the previous one (we promise you, it will be longer next week).

THE PROGRESS

Haven't gotten lots of new things in this week, but we do have some interesting bits we are eager to show you. We have scaled the 'sniper-building' to the Max-unit right, we did some reworking on the base of the blades on the windmill (it didn't look like anything last week) and we got started on the beach-part of the level. Here's a new progress-pic for this week, enjoy.

*EDIT* As a compensation for the short update, another shot for you guys */EDIT*

I meant good to see they didn't quit making the map as to what they began saying on the last weekly update. :d

the only bad thing i see for you guys is that there were 4 but now are 3 zanzibar teams, which are you guys, nitros halo2 team, and aeroII's team, but keep up the good work.
if you see me post, and have no clue who i am, it means i haven't posted in a while

That's not really a bad thing when you think about it; competition pumps up the motivation of making the map better than the other one(s), which results in better maps on the long run...
