Injecting metas

Post by Spammy »

Well, I was hoping someone who knows how to could possibly tell me how to inject vehicle, weapon and collision model meta from SP maps without:

a)the game freezing or in the case of collision models:
b)acting all weird or not showing up right. If someone could help it would be much appreciated. Thx.

I was told that to get weapons imported correctly you have to fix the loneIDs. I guess that's where I messed up.

i dont know if you were using xinject but i noticed some huge errors with antr's and stuff.... i fixed most of the problems. i am going to release another version as soon as possible. it's not injecting sounds or bitmaps right now so i have to fix it. until then inject stuff with hht. you can still use my program for some things but i would recommend just using hmi for models and using hht to do the rest.

like spammy said there are loneids that would mess up importing a weapon but if you can even start the level it sounds like the collision model or some other effect for your weapon is screwed up. the vehicle and the weapon are like this. if you save with hmt you can see the lone ids in the xml file it makes.
